Our partners and collaborators

In the UK, Green Impact was developed by the National Union of Students (NUS) in 2006. In 2019, Students Organising for Sustainability (SOS-UK) was created by staff and students in NUS in response to the ecological and climate crises. SOS-UK now delivers Green Impact within the UK on behalf of NUS.

Our International Partners

Over the past 12 years, Green Impact has expanded into mainland Europe and Australasia. This has only been possible through working with our delivery partners who deliver Green Impact within these regions. Find out more about each partner below and how to contact them if you are interested in bringing Green Impact to your organisation.

LEAF (Laboratory Efficiency Assessment Framework) has been developed by UCL and is now the world’s largest sustainable science programme. It provides standard guidance on addressing the sustainability of technical areas like laboratories. Green Impact and LEAF compliment each other to ensure you are embedding sustainability into everything you do within and beyond the lab. Many institutions employ LEAF alongside their Green Impact programmes to great success. If interested in learning more about LEAF, contact LEAF@ucl.ac.uk. While doing both Green Impact Labs and LEAF is feasible, we recommend selecting a single programme that for your lab spaces.
